Beginnings

 Quentin was born in Gironde (Bordeaux area). In 2003, he signs his first licence with the ‘Vélo Club Pays de Langon’. He performed for the Aquitaine region for several years during various French Championships (Junior, Espoir, Elite). End 2018, he takes the opportunity to join the VCESQY Team VOUSSERT just a few miles away from the National Vélodrome. It’s a new ambitious adventure that starts; thanks to the president, Thierry Fabre and the main partner of the club: VOUSSERT with Laurent Camin.

Education

At 15, from 2006 to 2013, Quentin studied at INSEP boarding school. INSEP is the French school for high level sport performers. Quentin had the chance to be accompanied by the best trainers at the French Cycling Federation with 30 hours of training per week. At INSEP, Quentin also received a full school education. In 2009, he graduated from high school with the Baccalauréat STG. In 2011, he validates the sports trainer 1st degree BEESAC.

His career with the French Team Sprint

The National Vélodrome of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines was inaugurated in January 2014. The French Cycling Olympic Team left INSEP for the new National Cycling Center. With such setting, one of the best velodrome in the world, France gave itself the means to achieve its ambitions. With these new conditions, Quentin wins his first World Cup, his first European Championship Title and his first World Elite Championship.

On the track to Paris 2024

Quentin takes the time to question himself after the postponement of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. The need for a new project quickly comes up, and it takes place thanks to the French Cycling Federation, his partners, his relatives.
Here is a new start in his career as starter cyclist in the Pursuit Team and the Kilometer race which is his favorite competition. Quentin has chosen a team dedicated to his performance project. Today he has the environment and the potential to shine with the French Team jersey and to bring his values to the highest level.
